My passion for photography began in 2014, fuelled by an obsession with capturing the raw energy of street scenes. During my daily commutes,
I started framing the world around me, crafting short visual stories highlighted by the interplay of shadow and light, always hunting for sparks of emotion. This love of stories naturally led me to portraiture, where I refined my skills under the guidance of Peter Hurley's
Headshot Crew, learning not just the technical aspects of lighting but the art of evoking genuine expressions and thoughtful poses and positions.
I photographed my first concert in 2015 and experienced a rush matched only by performing onstage. Since then, I've had the privilege of shooting hundreds of artists, bands, and festivals and some work with brands. My street and portrait photography background informs my approach to live performance photography, where I strive to capture more than just a concert photo. My goal is to create powerful, attention-grabbing images that tell a compelling story—whether it’s through candid, stealthy shots that reveal the unguarded emotion of a moment or through carefully directed portraits that convey an artist's personality. Photography is more than a profession; it's a way to connect with people and preserve moments before they pass. I always seek new challenges and opportunities to capture the world through my lens, one story at a time.
In addition to great photography, I always deliver a great experience with professionalism, discretion, energy, work ethic, good humour and a positive attitude. I would love to capture your tour, album artwork, live and portrait photos for social media and promotion, festival performances and environment, artists and shows at your venue as well as your team photos.
I live and work in Toronto, ON Canada but would love to travel anywhere on the planet to work with artists, brands, publications and festivals. Please get in touch for a casual chat to see if I can help or just to shoot the breeze.
